On August 15th the Sealant and Waterproofing Association held its annual Fishing Derby at the Port Credit Harbour Marina. It was the biggest derby ever with eleven boats participating:

- Bowie Contracting Ltd.
- Brook Restoration
- Complete Concrete Restoration
- DRE Industries
- Eagle Restoration
- Macdero
- Mapei
- Maxim Group
- Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd.
- SST Group on Construction
The group met at The Brogue Irish Pub for a great lunch and the trophy and prize presentation.
The trophy for the biggest salmon went to Jonathan Rebelo of RJC at 20.86 lbs.
