The Sealant and Waterproofing Association held their fifth annual fishing derby on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Port Credit Marine. Forty-five persons attended. The weather was cool and rainy but it held off just enough so everyone could enjoy the afternoon on the lake. Many fish were caught……. and many got away……………
A special thank you is extended to all the boat captains, with a special thanks to Paul Hanratty and Craig Bowie for looking after the arrangements and prizes.
The results of the derby:
Chris Pieneman - 23 pounds, 8 oz.
Jason Biagi - 22 pounds
Bruno Aletto - 18 pounds
Larry Bowie - 17 pounds, 8 oz.
Following the derby, attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner and prize presentations at the Brogue Inn in Port Credit.
