On Tuesday, April 18, 2006 the Sealant and Waterproofing presented a luncheon seminar at The School, on the topic of 'Warranties'. The presenters were Bob Montpetit of Aquanorth Contracting Ltd. and Dan Martis of Morrison Hershfield Limited. Discussion topics included:
- Definition of Warranty and Definition of Guarantee
- Contractor Warranty
- Date of Commencement of the Warranty (i.e. Date of Substantial Performance)
- Manufacturer's Warranty (i.e. Date of Substantial Completion versus Actual Date)
Mark your calendar for the next SWA seminar, scheduled to take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the Toronto Cricket Club.
