2011 Fishing Derby Photos

The SWA 8th Annual Fishing Derby was held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at Port Credit Marina. A total of six fishing vessels were chartered this year, with approximately 46 passengers. Although the morning brought rainy skies, Captain Dolly declared it was safe to continue on as planned and the afternoon brought in clear skies.

A great day of fishing and networking was had by all!

Honours for "biggest fish" went to Keith Lusty, reeling in a 19 lb. salmon!
Coming in second was Matt Roberts with a 15.08 lb. salmon
Craig Bowie came in third with a 9.02 lb. salmon

A special thank you is extended to all the boat captains, and a special thanks to Paul Hanratty and Craig Bowie for looking after the arrangements and prizes.

Everyone enjoyed a tasty dinner at the Brogue Irish Pub in Port Credit, with trophy and prize presentations following dinner.
