SWA Annual
General Meeting
November 9, 2007
The Sealant
and Waterproofing held this year's annual meeting at the Embassy
Suites in Niagara Falls. Thirty-five persons were registered to
attend. Members arrived on Thursday afternoon and attended a meet
and greet in the hotel, followed by a group dinner in The Keg. Thanks

The annual general
meeting was held on Friday, November 9 at 11:00 am. Peter Wong was
the guest speaker and made a presentation on LEED. Following his
presentation, the annual business meeting took place.

SWA reported
that our membership is at an all time high (59 members). Our golf
tournament and Fishing Derby were both very successful with record
attendance. The association had excellent visibility at the Sealant
Waterproofing and Roofing Institute meetings during the year. The
product/project showcase is an on-going success.
The Board presented
Marla with a dozen red roses as a thank you for a job well done
during her tenure as President. Andrew Porciello, President, reported
that he is looking forward to heading up the SWA for the next two
years and working with the Board in maintaining the current momentum
that has built up.
