2006 Fishing Derby Photos

The Sealant and Waterproofing Association held the third annual fishing derby on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Bluffer's Park Marina in Scarborough. Sixty persons attended. The weather was hot and the fish were biting! We had a total of nine boats taking place in this year's derby, with approximately 25 fish landed and many that got away…

A special thank you is extended to all the boat captains and a special thanks to George from R & W Charters for all his efforts.

The results of the derby:

"Big Fish" trophy went to Dan Pekic - 19 ½ pounds
Mike Doiron - 16 ¾ pounds
Wayde Vaughn - 14 pounds
John Kennedy - 13 pounds
Rob Brophy - 11 pounds
Chris Gater - 12 pounds
Keith Bowie - 10 pounds
Kevin Dyke - 9 pounds
Brian Ballantyne - 8 ½ pounds

Following the derby, attendees enjoyed a buffet dinner at the Bluffer's Park Restaurant and prize presentations.
